answer: 'with great difficulty'
that is what Rafael Nadal found out yesterday with Andy Roddick blistering his serve in to take a 7-6, 6-2 match. Andy broke the tournament speed record. Does anyone know if that is the land speed record or the air speed record? Also, what is the fastest serve ever recorded for men and women? Apparently this isn't it.
It was enough for Andy to take this match from Rafa. When the other guy is serving that well, winning several games at love, you have to be almost perfect in your game to have a chance. It puts a lot of pressure on you to win your own serve. Roddick is still going to have his hands full today with Australian Open winner Novak Djokovic. He won't be able to do it with a big serve alone. Andy says he learned from his departed coach Jimmy Connors. He is going to need all the weapons he can get. Show us the Connors backhand Andy and we will believe.
